Full Moon Awareness and Space-Making Ritual
The opening ritual of the MoonMagicx Lunar Method™: to see clearly and to make space, without rushing to fix anything.
Purpose
The opening ritual of the MoonMagicx Lunar Method™: to see clearly and to make space, without rushing to fix anything.
When to use it
On the night of the Full Moon, or within a day either side.
MoonMagicx Lunar Method™ phase: Full Moon.
What you need
• A white candle
• Your journal
• Clear Quartz or Selenite
• A window with moonlight if possible
Preparation
Clear one physical surface completely. Put away laundry, dishes, papers — the ritual begins with the tidying, not after it.
Preparing the space
Sit facing the window. Place the crystal where the light falls, the candle to your right, the journal open in front of you.
Opening
Light the candle. Say: 'I am here to see, not to fix.' Sit for two full minutes doing nothing at all.
Step by step
1. Write for ten minutes without stopping, beginning: 'What I can see clearly now is…'
2. Underline anything that surprised you.
3. On a fresh page, write: 'What I have been avoiding is…' and let it be unflattering.
4. Name one commitment, object or conversation you will remove this week to make space.
5. Place the crystal on the page and leave it there overnight.
6. Do not set intentions tonight. The New Moon is for planting; this is for seeing.
Spoken words
'Light on all of it. The parts I chose and the parts I allowed.
I make space. I do not yet know what fills it, and that is permitted.'
Closing
Close the journal. Snuff the candle. Say: 'Seen, and held.'
Aftercare
Sleep with the journal nearby and note any dreams. Actually remove the thing you named within three days, or the space stays theoretical.
Reflection
The Full Moon starts the cycle. Everything you release, rest into, plant and act on this month grows from what you were honest about tonight.
Journal prompts
• What is now impossible to unsee?
• What have I been calling 'fine'?
• What am I making space for?
Safety
Never leave candles unattended. If what surfaces is heavy, close the journal and return to it in daylight.
