Rituals
Love Ritual (Honest Opening)
To open to love without coercion — no working on another person's will.
Purpose
To open to love without coercion — no working on another person's will.
When to use it
Waxing moon, when you are genuinely available rather than trying to fill an absence.
MoonMagicx Lunar Method™ phase: Waxing Gibbous.
What you need
• A pink or red candle
• Rose, hibiscus or damiana
• Rose Quartz or Rhodochrosite
• Paper and pen
Preparation
Write what you want in a relationship in behavioural terms, not in adjectives. 'Someone who answers messages' rather than 'my soulmate'.
Preparing the space
Candle centre, crystal on your list, herbs sprinkled around.
Opening
Light the candle. Say: 'I open to love that is mutual.'
Step by step
1. Read your behavioural list aloud.
2. Add one line: 'And I will offer the same.' Read it again.
3. Hold the crystal at your chest and name one way you make yourself unavailable.
4. Name one thing you will do differently to be reachable.
5. Leave the list under the crystal for the rest of the phase.
6. Do the reachable thing this week — reply, accept the invitation, be seen.
Spoken words
'I do not audition for love.
I am available, and I am honest about what I want.
What is mutual can find me.'
Closing
Snuff the candle. Say: 'Open.'
Aftercare
Notice the urge to check whether it 'worked'. Turn that attention toward your own availability instead.
Reflection
Coercive love work tends to cost more than it returns. Openness is the actual magic here.
Journal prompts
• How do I make myself unavailable?
• What am I willing to offer?
• Where am I loving from a place of proving?
Safety
Never work on another person's free will. Never leave candles unattended.
