You were creative before anyone graded it.

Most people didn't lose their creativity. They lost their willingness to make something imperfect in front of an imaginary judge.

Creativity is a current, not a performance. It responds to exactly what intuition does: attention, regular small appointments with it, and the suspension of the verdict until the thing exists.

Making things for the aliveness of making them.

Waiting for the mood, the tools, or the talent before beginning.
