Release
Have you noticed that the things hardest to release are usually the ones that weren't finished properly?
Let's start here
Have you noticed that the things hardest to release are usually the ones that weren't finished properly?
Release isn't force. It's admitting something has ended.
Going deeper
Trying to release what is not actually over is why release rituals fail. The first question is always: is this finished, or do I simply want it to hurt less?
Light
Grip loosening on something already complete.
Shadow
Forcing release before you have understood what you were holding.
How to work with this
• Name what is finished and what you fear losing with it.
• Release the first. Keep the second in writing.
• Rest afterwards — release often precedes grief, not relief.
Questions to sit with
• What would I have to admit for this to be over?
• What am I keeping alive out of habit?
• What remains when it goes?
Where this connects
