Universal Laws
Law of Correspondence
Law 4 of 12 · worked with Waning Gibbous energy.
The law
Outer patterns tend to reflect inner ones. What repeats externally is usually pointing at something internal that has not changed.
Within the MoonMagicx Lunar Method™
Reflection at the Waning Gibbous is where correspondence becomes visible — the same situation with a different face. Primary phase: Waning Gibbous.
How to work with it this cycle
Write the last three times this pattern appeared and find the sentence they share.

Journal prompt
• What keeps repeating, and what is the common factor in every version of it?
Across the whole cycle
Full Moon: notice where this law is already operating. Waning Gibbous: reflect on it with gratitude. Last Quarter: release what contradicts it. Waning Crescent: rest inside it. New Moon: set an intention shaped by it. Waxing Crescent: nurture that intention. First Quarter: act on it when resistance arrives. Waxing Gibbous: review how accurately you have been living it.
Deep dive
Law of Correspondence — the long working
The deeper current
Sat with properly, rather than looked up in passing, Law of Correspondence changes character: it begins to show you the pattern rather than the incident.
At its best it brings a felt sense of connection rather than a borrowed belief. Left unexamined it turns into collecting practices without living any of them. The honest work between those two ends is this: keep one practice for a full lunar cycle.
Where it tends to be misread
The most common misreading of Law of Correspondence is using it to confirm a decision you already made rather than to examine it.
If you notice that happening, you have not failed — you have found the exact place the work lives.
In the body
Notice where you feel this one physically — jaw, chest, stomach, shoulders. The body registers a shift before language does.
A ritual for Law of Correspondence
Best begun at the Waning Crescent, when the instruction is to rest, surrender and integrate.
1. Clear a small surface and sit down properly. No phone, no music with words.
2. Say what you are actually here about — one sentence, plain language, no spiritual vocabulary.
3. Bring Law of Correspondence into it: hold it, light it, draw it, or simply read its name aloud, whichever suits.
4. Ask: what am I avoiding inside this? Write for four minutes without stopping.
5. Choose one action from what you wrote and put it in the diary with a date.
Close by thanking the part of you that has been carrying this without help.
Shadow work
Shadow with Law of Correspondence usually appears as collecting practices without living any of them.
Ask, without softening it: who taught me this was safer? What does it protect me from feeling? What would I have to face if I stopped doing it? Write the answers even if they are unflattering — especially then.
Seven days with it
Day one — read the entry again slowly and write the line that irritated you.
Day two — keep one practice for a full lunar cycle.
Day three — find where collecting practices without living any of them has been true for you.
Day four — do the smaller version of the thing you keep postponing.
Day five — tell one person one true sentence about this.
Day six — notice what a felt sense of connection rather than a borrowed belief would actually feel like in your ordinary day.
Day seven — rest, and write what changed without grading yourself.

• Where in my life is a felt sense of connection rather than a borrowed belief already quietly present?
• What is the cost of continuing to collecting practices without living any of them?
• If I trusted this completely, what would I stop doing this week?
• Who would notice if I actually lived this?
